Objectives
The Doctoral Degree in Arts and Humanities seeks to:
- Train researchers in the areas mentioned above.
- Consolidate teams of professors and doctoral students that work on interdisciplinary lines of research.
- Promote the training of university professors in the framework of the areas mentioned above.
- Provide more specific training for future researchers, archivists, librarians, publishers, art gallery directors, etc.

The Doctoral Degree in Arts and Humanities, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of RD 99/2011, guarantees that doctoral students will acquire basic competences, abilities and/or personal skills, as well as certain specific competences associated with the experimental work that forms part of their doctoral thesis project, depending on the line of research that frames it.
