Before starting the process, it is advisable to request an informative interview. This will allow you to clear up any questions you may have regarding the program and to find out whether it is suitable for your career.



The application form and documentation submitted by the candidate will be treated as confidential and will be made available only to those people upon whom the decision depends.


Once the application form and supporting documents have been received, a personal interview will be held in person or via videoconference. The interviewer will focus in particular on the candidate’s motivation, the consistency between the candidate’s expectations and the content of the master’s degree, and other qualitative aspects.


Applications will be assessed in accordance with the following qualification criteria:

  • admission interview: 50%

  • the candidate’s academic record and academic/artistic/professional career: 50%

When the application is complete (form + documentation + payment of admission application fee + personal interview), the Board of Management of the Master’s Degree in Curatorial Studies will evaluate it and issue a report on the candidate’s admission within one month. Once a decision has been made regarding admission, the candidate will receive notification of the decision and may consult the miUNAV portal.


Candidates who are admitted should reserve their place in the master’s degree program (pre-registration) by paying a €1,000 deposit; this amount will be discounted from the total registration fee. The student’s place must be reserved during the month following receipt of the admissions letter and is non-refundable.
