According to the level of Spanish determined by the results of the online Spanish language test, students will be able to choose a minimum and maximum of ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) for each module.
IFP Year students can choose classes offered annually and in the first and second semester.
IFP First Semester students can choose classes offered in the first semester.
IFP Second Semester students can choose classes offered in the second semester.
The student’s Spanish proficiency level and the degree or type of studies they want to pursue in the future will be taken into consideration.
Spanish Entry Level
Students enroll in a total of 30 ECTS credits each semester.
Some subjects may undergo changes of semester or content. The Schools responsible will offer an alternative subject in order to fulfill the objectives of the program.
Students are able to choose these subjects when they have a Spanish proficiency level equivalent to B2. For subjects taught in English, students may choose them despite having a lower level of Spanish.
Some of the subjects proposed may undergo changes of semester or content. In that case, the Schools responsible for those subjects will offer an alternative in order to guarantee the fulfillment of the objectives of the program.
Participation in the International Foundation Program does not imply that the students will automatically be admitted in the degree of their choice.
Students who matriculate in a UNAV degree program can transfer up to 15% of the total number of credits associated with the degree (Example: IFP Year- 36 credits). The credit validation is not automatic; approval depends on the individual department.
