What is it?
This consists of carrying out an R&D project at the request of a company. The project is carried out in accordance with intended objectives, with a work plan, specific financial conditions and a defined research team.
Features
This type of partnership enables the generation of new outcomes, based on a research project tailored to the company.
The agreement sets out the objectives, the work plan and the completion date, among other aspects.
From the very outset, ownership and exploitation of the research results are regulated.
How it works
The company contacts the Research Management Service and indicates what it wants. The service selects a team of researchers specializing in this area so that a report on the project to be undertaken can be jointly defined by the company and the researchers.
The Research Management Service sends a draft agreement that stipulates the conditions for conducting the project and its budget.
When the parties have reached a consensus on the wording of the agreement, they sign it and commence the defined activities.
The Research Management Service is responsible for issuing invoices to the relevant company in accordance with the timing and amounts stipulated in the agreement.
