Collaborative research. Services for companies. Investigation. University of Navarra
What is it?
This involves a company and a research team conducting a joint R&D project. Both parties are involved in carrying out the activity and share the risks and benefits.
This type of partnership allows for direct interaction with the company, with knowledge transfer by both parties.
The agreement sets out the objectives, work plan and completion date, among other aspects.
From the very outset, the ownership and exploitation of the research results are regulated.
How it works
The company contacts the Research Management Service and indicates what it wants. The service selects a team of researchers specializing in this area so that a report on the project to be undertaken can be jointly defined.
The Research Management Service sends a draft agreement that stipulates the technical and financial conditions.
When the parties have reached a consensus on the wording of the agreement, they sign it and commence the defined activities.
