Luis Ravina and Luis A. Gil-Alaña were appointed to the editorial boards of two journals on sociology, development and economics

Luis Ravina, director of the Navarra Center for International Development (NCID) within the Institute for Culture and Society, and Luis A. Gil-Alaña, a NCID researcher and professor within the School of Economics, have been appointed to the editorial boards of two journals on sociology, development and economics.
Luis Ravina, Professor of International Economics, is the European Union's representative member to Sociology of Development, an international journal that published its first volume in March 2015. The publication focuses on issues related to development, such as research oriented toward policy, inequality, poverty and sustainability, among others. The University of California Press publishes the journal.
Meanwhile, Luis A. Gil-Alaña, a Professor of Econometrics, has been appointed to the editorial board of International Economics, which is published by Elsevier. The journal focuses on issues in the area of applied international economics, international trade, economic development and migration. Luis A. Gil-Alaña works as both an ICS researcher and a professor and researcher within the School of Economics, where he directs the Quantitative Methods Department.
