Call for abstracts
We welcome contributions for poster presentations on the topic of Assessment of Ecological Quality and Conservation Status of Inland Waters and their associate Biodiversity. Please consider the conference themes when submitting your abstract. The scientific committee will review all abstracts for relevance to the Conference themes and scientific merit.
Abstracts of no more than 250 words outlining contribution content should be emailed to email@example.com by 1st September 2017 for consideration. Please find a Word document version of the abstract submission form here. Posters relating to the symposium topic will be displayed throughout the meeting and attendees will have plenty of time to study posters during coffee breaks (poster area is around the refreshment points).
Abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book which will be offered free of charge to all the participants. Those who have submitted successful poster proposals will notified by 15 September 2017 and further guidelines will be sent at that time.
Selected communications presented at the Conference will be published after standard peer review process and acceptation in a special issue for Inland Waters journal.
Special issue on Ecological Quality and Conservation Status of Inland Waters include the following topics:
1. Indicators of ecological freshwater quality
2. Connectivity and regulated rivers, and impacts on biodiversity.
3. Management of invasive species and Inland waters Conservation.
4. Research, Conservation and Management of freshwater ecosystems.
5. Planning, Regulation and Legislation of Inland waters.
Deadline for submission of final proposed articles is 31 October 2017. Consult Inland Waters web site for Author Guidelines. All the considered manuscripts must comply with Aims and Scope of the journal.
