The University of Navarra Research Plan (PIUNA) is a plan for funding research projects exclusively for researchers belonging to this institution. It takes the form, among other things, of an annual call for proposals with two formats:
Research projects: These are intended for research projects that have been submitted to a public body and not approved due to a lack of funding, but that have received a favorable academic evaluation from the Commission, or research projects that have been approved by a public body, but whose budget is insufficient with respect to the amount requested in the official project.
First research projects: These are intended to encourage the development of research projects not included in the special research lines or projects approved by the University and that are carried out by emerging research teams that have not obtained public funding in the past.
