Introduction

The Degree in Medicine comprises 360 ECTS credits, to be obtained in six academic years. The load per year is 60 ECTS credits for basic, obligatory and elective subjects. Overall:

  • Basic subjects (BS): 62 ECTS credits

  • Obligatory subjects (OS): 264 ECTS credits

  • Elective subjects (ES): 28 ECTS credits

  • End of degree project: 6 ECTS credits

The fundamental objective of the Degree in Medicine is to provide future medical doctors with the clinical knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, treat and prevent the most common diseases, and to start specialized training.
