The aim of this Double Degree in Education and Primary Teaching (five years) is to provide future professionals with broad, comprehensive and flexible qualifications who are able to cope, in the classroom and beyond, with the educational challenges posed by today's society. The goal is for graduates to have in-depth knowledge of teaching activities, orientation tasks and other educational activities that take place beyond educational centers.
The Double Degree in Education and Primary Teaching is aimed at:
Students who are interested in teaching children between the ages of 6 and 12. Students are expected to develop an understanding of children's educational needs and living situations, as well as complement the learning they receive at home. They should demonstrate a capacity for study, creativity and responsibility, and possess the skills required to communicate with people.
It is also aimed at students interested in designing, coordinating and evaluating training programs in various areas (schools, companies, NGOs, associations, etc.), and carrying out educational orientation tasks in schools and professional practices. They should be interested in helping people through lifelong training, orientation and psycho-educational intervention, in the various educational and social areas. In this context, students must also demonstrate a capacity for study, research and hard work.
If you study the Double Degree in Education and Primary Teaching at the University of Navarra:
You will learn how to help, guide and train people throughout their lives, and to intervene effectively when learning difficulties arise.
You will receive support from a department with more than 50 years' experience of training education professionals.
You will be able to continue your training through one of two official master's degree programs: the Master's Degree in Educational and Psychological Intervention or the Master's Degree in Secondary School Teaching.

You can take the DECA Diploma, a qualification awarded by the Spanish Episcopal Conference that provides students with academic training for teaching religion in schools.
You will incorporate the use of new technologies to improve your teaching competence.
You will undertake subjects in English and more than 500 hours of internships at various educational centers in Spain and overseas.
1965 Education study programs at the University of Navarra are launched with the creation of the Institute of Educational Sciences.
