Ian Peng Leong Kwan
Ian is an Assistant Professor in the University of Navarra's School of Economics and Business Administration and teaches undergraduate subjects in Finance. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Navarra, a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Business at the University of New South Wales, and a degree in Electrical Engineering also from the University of New South Wales.
During his doctoral studies, Ian presented academic papers at various international conferences including the 32nd Strategic Management Society Annual Conference in Prague, Czech Republic; the 73rd Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Orlando, United States; and the 7th EIASM Intangibles and Intellectual Capital Workshop in Warsaw, Poland where he was awarded Runner-Up for Best Paper.
Prior to entering academia, Ian was a Project Engineer for Procter & Gamble's manufacturing facility where he developed his interest in project valuation and finance. He later worked in Taiwan as an equities market analyst for Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia and as a buy-side technology venture analyst for InvestStar Capital. He has also worked in Hong Kong where he helped start up Tak Sun Secondary School and was its Director of Administration.
