Student insurance coverage from the National Institute of Social Security
All the University of Navarra students who are less than 28 years of age and and are registered in an academic program recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science are covered by this insurance coverage.

For those health issues not covered by the standard Students Insurance, including common diseases, and for students not covered by the Student Insurance, different procedures can be followed.

* Very important: Given the limitations of the health coverage available through the Spanish public health care system, we highly encourage students who will be traveling (either international students coming to Spain, or Spanish students traveling abroad) to obtain complete medical insurance coverage prior to beginning their travels, either via the medical facilities of the Social Security system, or else through private medical centers.
