The articles will have a maximum length of 30 DIN-A4 double-spaced printed sheets, with no more than 68,000 characters, including charts, graphs, notes and bibliography. Each text will be preceded by a page with the title of the work, name of author/authors, professional category, workplace, postal address, telephone number or e-mail address. The reports and status of the issue will have a maximum length of 10 DIN-A4 double-spaced printed sheets, with no more than 30,000 characters. The reviews will have a maximum length of 2 DIN-A4 double-spaced printed sheets, with no more than 7,000 characters. The books reviewed must have been published during the two years prior to the corresponding issue of the Yearbook, at most.

Moreover, a summary (abstract) with a maximum length of 20 double-spaced lines must be attached to each article, in Spanish and English (150 words), together with a list of keywords describing the content of the work. 
 
  3. Contributions may be sent in Spanish, English or French.

A hard copy of the originals on paper and another on a CD will be sent, the latter in one of the usual text formats, to Memoria y Civilización. Departamento de Historia. Universidad de Navarra, Campus Universitario s/n, 31080 Pamplona - Navarra - Spain.
  5. The footnotes will be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals in superscript, inserted at the foot of the page.

The bibliographical references will follow this sequence: author’s first name in lower case, surname/s in Versailles, followed by a comma. Then the title of the work in Cursive, followed by a comma. Next, the place of publication, editorial and year, separated by commas. If there are several editions, the number of the edition will be given. Finally, the page number/s will be given. Articles from journals, collective works or congress minutes will be cited as follows: author’s name in lower case, surname/s in Versailles, followed by a comma. Title of the work in quotation marks, followed by the preposition 'in'. Title of the journal or collective work in Cursive, followed by the volume, year and pages. Books reviewed will be cited as follows: First name and surname/s of author, followed by a comma. Work title in Cursive, followed by a comma. Place of edition, followed by a colon. Editorial, followed by a comma. Year, followed by a comma. Number of pages, followed by a period. ISBN number, followed by a period. Price, in original currency.

The sections into which the articles are divided will be numbered in Arabic numerals.

The charts, graphs and maps will be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals, and identified by a title, apart from an indication of the source.

The articles, reports, status of issues and reviews sent will be examined by the Board of Editors. If said Board considers it appropriate, it will remit these contributions to the members of its Assessment Board or to other specialists for a report guaranteeing their quality.

The Secretary’s Office of Memoria y Civilización will confirm reception of all originals within 30 working days of reception, and the Editorial Board will decide on publication within a maximum of six months, and inform the author of the decision taken.

The authors of the articles, reports and status of issues will receive a single copy for proofreading, which must be returned to the editorial within 15 days. The authors will receive, on publication, 20 offprints of their work.
12.
The editorial rights belong to Memoria y Civilización, and the permission of the Board of Editors is needed for partial of total reproduction. The publication of a work does not give rise to payment.
13.
The Board of Editors will respect the intellectual freedom of the authors, but does not necessarily share the opinions expressed by them.
