![]() | The Association of Friends encourages activities of solidarity on the part of those many persons who wish to channel their charitable giving through the University, being conscious of the ideal of service which moved St. Josemaría to found the University in 1952. |
| What Needs Does The Association Help With? |
The Association of Friends handles donations of time and money, with the goal of providing aid to students whose needs are not met via other public funding sources.
Scholarships for Students so that:
- nobody is denied access to the University for financial reasons, and all those who are currently undertaking their studies may complete their degree program, despite difficult financial circumstances;
- many young graduates can deepen their academic formation by pursuing advanced studies at the University, preparing themselves for teaching and scientific research;
- students from development countries who are unable to study their desired degree program in their country of origin, helping them to handle the costs which these studies imply.
University Support and Development:
- The Association promotes activities intended to benefit the integral formation of the students, and also provides block grants for special infrastructure improvement projects of the University..
Research, both pure and applied, in all fields of knowledge:
- These grants finance research projects which otherwise would be unable to obtain funding.
