University housing that promotes the formation of its students in regards to the university community and the general society.

• Promote in the residents a sense of community in their residences that enrich their human, social, and ethical formation.
• Promote in the residents the spirit of responsibility, especially through their studies, participation in the different activities and the organization of resident life.
• Animate the resident to integrate themselves in the social enviroment.
• Augment the plural cultural formation, which complements academic formation with a critical attitude in the search of the truth.
• Offer a productive ambience in which the residents can achieve the development of their personality and completion of their academic objectives.

These facilities are integrated into the University. Residents are offered full room and board, academic support, and cultural and social activities. The Universidad de Navarra has 12 such Colegios Mayores (7 for women and 5 for men) and can provide housing to approximately 1,300 students.
