 Cultural community projects in Education

The course is mainly practical and experiential. It firstly includes preliminary and fundamental concepts about educational projects in cultural context. It focusses in new trends on participatory arts activities/exhibitions/programming and audience engagement.

The course it aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as teachers and community projects managers. It  will be lectured by Ruth Sapsed, visiting scholar from the University of Cambridge, and Carmen Urpi, School of Education and Psychology; within a series of intensive workshops concentrated in  1 week (23-26 January).

The course price is 150 euros per person. Certificates will be available on request. (Special prices apply for collaborating schools and students). Attendace must be confirmed at: vminondo@unav.es



Planning learning opportunities in formal and informal contexts

  • Case studies - Taking Note with whole hospital community; Future Reactive with epidemiologists and children; professional development for Playteam; community engagement with new hospital museum

  • Planning own projects – who to involve, where, provocations, monitoring, evaluation
