Languages at the University

The University of Navarra offers most of its courses in Spanish. International students have the opportunity to improve their language skills at the Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Españolas (ILCE). It offers courses throughout the academic year but also during the Summer.

The University of Navarra has a Language Institute (Instituto de Idiomas) that offers students and professionals a wide variety of courses in various languages including English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Basque. The student has at their disposal the resources necessary to further the study of languages, such as computers, DVD, TV, audio and video materials, books, and other study materials.

The Language Institute also offers special courses to suit the specific needs of each degree as well as courses in communication skills, courses in academic writing and semi- intensive courses for the preparation of international exams like TOEFL, IELTS and Cambridge.

Our Language Institute is an authorized center and local headquarters for Cambridge English language exams.
