La verdadera efigie de don Pedro Calderón de la Barca

Resumen:
This article tries to determine what is the vera effigies of Pedro Calderon de la Barca. After discarding as such, the portrait preserved in the Lazaro Galdiano Museum, reviews the rest of the images and analyzes their possible dependencies and relationships. Leaving aside another painting of private property of indisputable quality but impossible to find and study carefully, he concludes that, with the data that we have today, we can only consider a reliable portrait of Calderon: the one that was placed in his funeral monument in the now-disappeared Church of San Salvador in Madrid, of which a photographic copy is preserved.
