The Doctoral Program in Applied Creativity includes the following educational activities:

  1. Courses provided by the Library Services

  2. Course on the protection of research results and technology transfer.

  3. Didactic training courses.

  4. Training sessions, seminars, conferences, congresses, forums, workshops organized by the School and research groups.

  5. Training sessions, seminars, conferences, congresses, forums, workshops at other universities and centres.

  6. Research stays at prestigious international research centres

  7. Mobility.

  8. Presentation of advances in the research.

  9. Scientific Contribution.

Calendar of general educational activities for the 2019-2020 academic year organized by the Doctoral School.

The Academic Committee shall perform a yearly follow-up subject to the following documents:

1. Report by the Thesis Supervisor on the activity that has been performed.

2. Activity Register Document.

3. Research Plan for the subsequent year.

The Activity Register collects the training activities that the student has completed throughout the academic year. A recommended trajectory is stated below for the activity of both a full time and a partial time doctorate in the Doctoral Degree in Applied Creativity that will serve as a reference to assess the work performed.

Year 1/Assessment

  • Completion of training complements.

  • Thesis project.

Year 2 (apart from the activities of Year 1)

  • Completion of training complements if they have not been completed during Year 1.

  • Course on the protection of research results and technology transfer (Training activity N.2).

  • 1 Exhibition of the work performed at the department/area (Training activity N.8). It is compulsory to perform said exhibition at least once throughout the doctoral period.

Year 3-4 or until the thesis is presented (apart from the activities above)

  • Course on the protection of research results and technology transfer (Training activity N.2), if not priory completed.

  • 1 Oral presentation before the Congress/International Conference upon publication of the acts, as first or second signatory (Training activity N.5).

  • 1 Publication accepted as first or second author in any listed journal (Training activity N.9).
