A university website for everyone

The University of Navarra wants to offer its services from equal opportunities and non-discrimination of people, for this reason we are committed to making our web portal accessible in accordance with RD 1112/2018, of September 7th, on accessibility of public sector websites and applications for mobile devices.

This initiative seeks to adapt our digital content to the accessibility requirements defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 accessibility standard, which sets out a set of guidelines, guidelines and resources, aimed at complying with the accessibility of the web.

The accessibility of our website is a basic pillar of our digitization process and is part of the objective of making the University a place accessible to all, an inclusive campus in the context of the university Social Responsibility plan. We want to facilitate access to our website to all people regardless of their age or physical situation.

Since the end of 2020 we have been working on a project to improve the accessibility of the designs, content and digital components of our website, identifying the accessibility barriers of our website and advising the technical and editing team in charge of the web pages. In this project we are accompanied by ILUNION Tecnología y Accesibilidad, a leading company in training on accessibility and in the evaluation of physical and technological environments. We will finish the project in mid-2021, our goal is to obtain the double AA certification level.
