In addition to the 30 ECTS subjects, in order to achieve the Diploma students must complete the following compulsory activities throughout the four years: 30 yearly hours in the workshop/archaeology laboratory (working with original archaeological material), and participate in two excavations which will require some 75 hours each. In this regard, the University has signed collaboration agreements with important archaeological excavations in Spain and Europe.
Within the syllabus, students have 36 ECTS of elective subjects should they wish to gain or deepen their knowledge of complementary subjects areas (Latin, Greek, cultural management, etc.) or in different subjects.
