For the first time in architectural studies three specialties that complement the conventional architecture curriculum are included. These specialties will give graduates an advantage when seeking executive positions across companies of diverse nature. These specialties are: Creative Project Management, Urban Project Management, and Technical Project Management. Combined architect-managers are currently in great demand, as they bring together technical, creative, and execute skills in the same professional profile.
Internships and employment
One of the priorities of the School of Architecture is to promote the professional development of its students. Its objective is to facilitate students’ and graduates’ first contact with the professional world as well as to provide a proper introduction to the workforce. To this end, the Career Services, whose purpose is to serve as a meeting point between Companies and the University, are a great source of support. Innovative high-level companies support the school and collaborate with the school to achieve this result.
In addition to internships throughout the degree, the School is committed to fostering networking among students and graduates so that they may build contacts and discover professional opportunities. To this end, the School has created Workshop 7 – a meeting place for alumni and current students who may work in different countries or who may be looking to make their way in the professional world.
