Profiles: national / international / International Baccalaureate


  1. International StudentsAll candidates who have, or will finish the baccalaureate (high school) outside of Spain are considered International - Regardless of nationality. 

  2. National Students: All students who are completing their 2nd year of Baccalaureate in Spain will be considered National Students.

  3. International Baccalaureate: The School of Medicine accepts applications from candidates who are enrolled in an official International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program. If a candidate applies through IB process, they are given a conditional admission to the Medical School based on their predicted score and interview. IB candidates are not required to take an admission exam.  

  4. Transfer students:  Students who have already started their medical degree in another institution, may request a transfer to the University of Navarra Medical School if they meet the requirements. 

At the time of application, if a student meets more than one profile (example: National student + IB student or International Student + IB student) those applicants must choose ONE Option when applying to the School of Medicine
