Open to the world
The first summer program in Journalism, held in 1958 at what was then called the Institute of Journalism, was attended by students from Chile, Argentina, the United States, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Spain. Fifty years later, its international dimension continues to leave its mark on the School of Communication.

¿Quieres estudiar Marketing?
Male estudia 4º de Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en la facultad. En estos cuatro años de carrera ha podido explorar todas las posibilidades que le ofrece el mundo de la Publicidad hasta descubrir qué es lo que más le gusta y lo que se le da mejor. Pero Male cree que lo más importante que ha aprendido es a poner el centro de su comunicación en las personas, que son lo que importa.

More than half a century at the forefront
Since the beginning, the School of Communication has succeeded in adapting to the needs of society in the field of communication. It has done so on most occasions in a pioneering way, thanks to its faculty research and ongoing and fluid relationship with the industry.
