Origin, Development and Purpose:
Since its establishment in 1958, the School of Sciences has sought to provide a quality interdisciplinary education in professional and human values. It is one of the oldest Schools in Spain. Thanks to its inter-school nature, it maintains close relations with the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Navarra, as well as the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) and other research centers.
The School of Sciences at the University of Navarra has made a firm commitment to adapting its studies to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). It has designed a student-centered education model that enables students to acquire the qualities and skills of an expert biologist, with a considerable load of excellent practical instruction. The programs of study are highly practical and incorporate the most advanced techniques to provide students with a broad and applied education.
