Policy

  • The documents requested through this service may be used solely for private, educational or research purposes and their reproduction and the use of reproductions must comply with current legislation regarding intellectual property: Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996Law 23/2006 and Law 21/2014.Escáner

  • Original documents submitted by the University of Navarra Library should be consulted in the library receiving the loan within 30 calendar days from the date they were sent, with the option to renew for another 15 days upon request to the Interlibrary Loan Service.

  • Documents will only be sent via fax in emergencies

  • Special documents that are excluded from loan will be delivered as photocopied reproductions. The following documents have such special status:

    • Reference books (encyclopedias, dictionaries, catalogues, bibliographies, etc.).

    • Serial publications (journals, series, etc.).

    • Frequently referenced documents of which the Library only has one copy.

    • Single sheets, cartographic material.

    • Atlases.

    • Non-book materials (slides, films, drawings, prints, etc.).

    • Other documents that, in the opinion of the Library, require special preservation.

  • The reproduction of books in the Special Collections will be carried out providing that the condition of the original allows it. This reproduction on CD-ROM is done by a service external to the Library and the rate is set by the digitizing company. Prior to sending the copy, the University of Navarra Library will request written acceptance of the price quoted and the conditions of use of the copy via the completion and signature of a form by the end user.

  • Doctoral dissertations defended at the University of Navarra are not subject to interlibrary loan. In order to use or consult a dissertation, you should contact the Doctoral Committee, which will advise you on the availability of the material and the procedure to follow if you wish to consult it.
