Resumen: Paer we show a comprehensive summary on the relationship between fuzzy morphological operators, fuzzy consequence operators and fuzzy preorders and we motivate the study of morphological operators by using binary relations as structuring elements in a more general context, i.e., the context of fuzzy re- lational systems for obtaining relevant infor- mation.
