Activity credits

Throughout their time at the University, students can earn up to 6 ECTS credits for participating in certain activities organized by the University. These activities may be cultural, social, sports, related to the student council or specific to university halls of residence.

Students may obtain a maximum of 3 ECTS credits in each of the areas, except in the most generic category of cultural activities, in which a maximum of 4 ECTS credits may be validated.

The process of obtaining credits for participation in approved activities is as follows:

  • The student participates in the corresponding activities and receives a certificate from the organizing Service or Center.

  • Recognition of the established credits is authorized by the Administrative Office of the School or Center, through the academic information portal.

  • Payment for the credits is formalized through the Office of the Registrar at any time during the academic year.

Every academic year, the approved activities and specific criteria will be published.

(The information in the table corresponds to the 2012-2013 academic year. Check with the Administrative Office of your School in advance in case there have been any changes.)
