Ceit joins Euskaraldia with the participation of nearly 100 professionals

Ceit has once again joined Euskaraldia, a social initiative aimed at transforming daily language habits to promote the use of Basque. In this edition, held from May 15 to 25, 2025, nearly 100 professionals from the center participated as Ahobizi or Belarriprest — roles that symbolize a commitment to speaking Basque and being open to hearing it.

Ceit held its own inaugural event, featuring various activities designed to mark the start of Euskaraldia and encourage staff participation. Under the slogan Elkar mugituz egingo dugu (“We will make it happen together”), the center promoted reflection on the use of Basque in the professional environment, identified areas for improvement, and explored strategies to increase its presence in daily interactions.

The high level of participation this year reflects Ceit's growing commitment to the normalization of Basque in the scientific and technological workplace.
