The Surgery Diploma is a separate complementary qualification to the Medical Degree. The objective of the diploma is to provide students with the necessary skills to get a better start on a professional career in Surgery.
The diploma incorporates practical and theoretical surgery electives and uses specific training in the Simulation Center, laboratories, and operating rooms at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. The Surgery Diploma is divided into two areas:
1) Surgical specialties: General Surgery, Digestive Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Neurosurgery, Plastic and Repair Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Heart Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery.
2) Medical-surgical specialties: Urology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology.
