School of Medicine Signs Agreement with Georgetown University

The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra has signed an MoU with Georgetown University. This new agreement boosts the international perspective of the school that already collaborates with Columbia University, Boston University anthe University of Rochester.
Georgetown University School of Medicine was funded in 1851 in Washington DC. It has a faculty of 558 teachers and 850 students. The School has its own Georgetown University Hospital that offers a wide variety of medical specialties and other centers such as the Concentrated Care Center, Pasquerilla Healthcare Center, Lombardi Cancer Center and the Medical-Dental Building.
José María Gutiérrez de Cabiedes, Development Director at the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra, said that this new agreement "is a step forward for internationalization: These agreements will allow our students to study in the best universities and offer students from those centers study at the University of Navarra". He also thanked Dr. Irma Frank, Senior Associate Dean for International Programs and Dr. Vicente Notario, Radiation Research director.
