This is a study of the real distinction between "spirit" and "soul" in man according to Leonardo Polo, which is equivalent to the real distinction between actus essendi-essentia; additionally, it is equivalent to the classic distinction between "person" and "immaterial human nature", or the modern distinction between "being" and the superior human "having".
