Resumen:
The article analyzes how the notions of conversion and conscience are intrinsically related in the life and thought of John Henry Newman. First, it describes four fundamental experiences of conversion that took place on his path to the Catholic Church. Examination of these experiences shows how commitment to truth and fidelity to conscience guided him in his life and led him to Rome. In a second moment, some essential features of the dynamics of Christian conversion are outlined.
