Admission criteria, undergraduate degrees

Two key elements are taken into account when admission decisions are made:

High school GPA
-
Grade achieved in the admissions test for the specific School.
The weight of each element in the final result is as follows:
Para aplicar a la Facultad de Medicina se requiere una nota media de 1º de bachillerato igual o superior a 7 sobre 10. Esta calificación cuenta un 30%, mientras que la nota de la prueba de admisión vale el 70%. Para el resto de facultades y escuelas la nota media de 1º de bachillerato pondera un 60% y la de la prueba de admisión un 40%.

Admission decisions
Admission decisions will be published on the Applicant Portal starting on the dates indicated below. These dates vary depending on the admission deadlines:

For those applying before the December deadline: as of January 14.

For those applying before the February deadline: as of March 16.

For those applying before the April deadline: as of May 18.

For those applying before the June deadline: as of June 25.

For those applying before the July deadline: as of July 30.

Presentation of formal requests
Any appeals should be made in writing to the University's Admissions Service, addressed to the President, by means of a formal request trough the Applicant Portal.

Undergraduate degree programs
During the last academic year, 11,647 students studied more than 40 undergraduate degrees on four campuses (Pamplona, San Sebastián, Madrid and Barcelona).

Master's degree programs
The University offers a range of 35 master's degrees. 1,657 students were enrolled in master's degree programs during the 2010-2011 academic year.

24 doctoral programs provided training for 1,070 university researchers and teachers throughout 2010 and 2011.

International students may spend one or several semesters in any of the degree programs offered by the University.
