Technology in the classroom and the virtual office

Everything is now available – in the cloud

ADI Online Classroom
Students and professors will take full advantage of ADI Online Classroom, the University’s virtual platform, in conjunction with videoconferencing tools such as Google Meet and Zoom, video-recording programs such as Panopto, and other collaborative learning tools like Google Suite, Socrative, Turnitin, etc.

Technical resources
Webcams and interactive screens have been installed in some classrooms and offices so that classes can be taught remotely.

Digital kit for students
Students will also receive advice and instructions about the key technical resources required to start the new academic year. The kit includes a laptop, webcam and headphones with inbuilt microphone.

IT Services has developed a guide for students with recommendations on how to make the most of some applications such as gmail, calendar, meet or drive; and the recommended equipment for personal work.

Online Office
This is an online service that ensures all procedures are managed effectively and reduces the need for face-to-face interaction to complete every day processes between administrative staff, professors and students in all Schools and standard Services. This service can be contacted via WhatsApp, email, telephone and self-service portal through a single-screen interface.

Increased connectivity on the campus
Installation of additional power points and internet outlets to recharge devices (laptops, tablets, cellphone, etc.).
