The Biodiversity Data Analytics and Environmental Quality group (BEQ) of the Department of Environmental Biology would like to invite you to participate in the Conference on Ecological Quality and Conservation Status of Inland Waters.
The ecological status of inland waters shows the structural quality and the proper functioning of freshwater ecosystems. Currently there are many indicators that permit us to evaluate this ecological quality. Assessment and monitoring of this quality allow us to know the conservation status of our rivers and of its biodiversity.
Our purpose is gathering a group of specialists and people interested in the study and conservation of inland waters. Encouraging debate and knowledge interchange is essential to find solution to the current problems concerning freshwater ecosystems.
