2. Sustainable Campus Project
The UN has worked on a model of Sustainable Campus, based on its own particular nature.
The Pamplona Campus is a large landscaped space open to the use and enjoyment of all citizens as a meeting place with public amenities, a green "lung" within the city, where the various buildings form a unity with a singular architectonic richness, thanks to the mark left by different architects over the various epochs of the history of the campus.
The University has begun taking measures, fundamentally in the area of the facilities, in order to guarantee full accessibility for all its users, both occasional visitors as well as students and employees.
The final goal is to achieve a Campus that outstands for its environmental management; the incorporation of strategic and technical solutions which influence the contamination of the campus environment, as well as energy savings and efficiency; and an ordering of vehicle and pedestrian traffic (through Bicycle Lanes and new Parking Lots).
