¿Por qué estudiar Magisterio Infantil?


The University of Navarra aims to train future teachers who have the skills to respond to the needs of families, schools and society.


  • The degree is aimed at students who are interested in teaching children between the ages of 0 and 6.

  • Students are expected to develop an understanding of children's educational needs and living situations, as well as work in partnership with their families to complement the learning they receive at home.

  • They should demonstrate a capacity for study, creativity and responsibility, and possess the skills required to communicate with people.


  • Those who study the Degree in Early Childhood Education will learn how to become good professionals with a desire to stay up to date in their training.

  • They will benefit from the support of a Department of Education with more than 50 years' experience.

  • They will have the opportunity to receive specific training through one of the specialization qualifications offered by the University of Navarra.

  • They will undertake more than 500 hours of internships at various educational centers in Spain and overseas.

  • They will have the opportunity to pursue the Double Degree in Education and Early Childhood Education (four years).

  • They will be able to continue their training through one of two official master's degree programs: the Master's Degree in Educational and Psychological Intervention or the Master's Degree in Secondary School Teaching.


  • 1965. Education study programs are launched with the creation of the Institute of Educational Sciences.

  • 1975. Educational Sciences study programs are introduced.

  • 1980. Ministry of Education approves the undergraduate curriculum.

  • 1994. Ministry of Education standardizes the curricula for the undergraduate degrees in Education and Educational Psychology.

  • 2009-2010. The Degree in Early Childhood Education is launched in the framework of the European Higher Education Area.

El Grado en Magisterio en Educación Infantil consta de 240 ECTS, repartidos en cuatro cursos académicos. La carga lectiva por cada curso es de 60 ECTS repartidos entre materias básicas, obligatorias y optativas.

  • Asignaturas Básicas: 60 ECTS.

  • Asignaturas Obligatorias: 112 ECTS.

  • Asignaturas Optativas: 18 ECTS.

  • Prácticas externas: 44 ECTS

  • Trabajo Fin de Grado: 6 ECTS.
