Bachelor of Philosophy
The School of Ecclesiastical Philosophy at the University of Navarra was established by the Holy See in 1988, in accordance with the norms of the Apostolic Constitution Sapientia Christiana.
Its purpose is to investigate philosophical problems and fundamental questions in the light of sciences and cultures, with an open attitude toward divine revelation, which will contribute to highlighting the coherence the exists between proper human knowledge and the Christian vision of the world, mankind and God.
The School seeks to provide its students with a well-rounded education in philosophy and prepare them to be teachers and scholars with a thorough knowledge of classical and modern thought so they can carry out their work in dialogue with different cultural environments, in a spirit of collaboration between philosophers and theologians.
The close ties between the School of Ecclesiastical Philosophy and the Department of Philosophy in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences – which has nearly a half century of experience – ensures the quality of the programs of study.
