Simulation Center

This state-of-the-art, high-fidelity facility simulates real-life nursing environments and work situations in order to minimize error in student practice. The CSE includes 3 multi-purpose  classrooms, a hospital room, an ICU, a nursing office and a debriefing room. The Center has two types of simulators, task trainers and mannequins. Among the latter, the Apollo, Athenea and Geri simulators are included.

These simulators are tools that we use to evaluate our students. At the end of the course, the ECOE is carried out; a global evaluation where different clinical cases are presented which students must complete in a limited time. At an international level, the Simulation Center is used in the Nursing
summer course, where we work on simulation scenarios with students from other international universities.

In addition, since 2019, the CSE is used to teach a subject to students of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing each using their competencies together and in a transversal manner.
