Chronic Diseases and End-of-Life Care
This research area seeks to develop understanding of the experiences, responses and needs of people and families facing chronic diseases, dependence on others, and advanced and terminal illnesses. It further aims to implement effective new interventions in chronic and end-of-life care from an interdisciplinary perspective.
This area encompasses every stage of the life cycle, from birth until death. The study population includes patients, families and healthcare professionals in health, social and community environments.
