International program in Fashion Communication

  1. Introduction

The International Program in Fashion Communication is aimed at students wishing to acquire comprehensive knowledge and practical experience to prepare them to work in the fashion communication industry from a multidisciplinary perspective.

The School of Communication is offering this program after many years of experience organizing the University of Navarra International Fashion Conference and the Annual CO+MO Seminar that it has held since 1995 with the participation of  ISEM Fashion Business School, a center of the University of Navarra that is a leader in training students to become fashion industry professionals.

  1.   Admissions

Students wishing to take the International Program in Fashion Communication must apply for admission to a degree program of the School of Communication (Journalism or Marketing) and the International Program in Fashion Communication.

To take the International Program in Fashion Communication, students must:

  • Sit for an entrance examination and a specific personal interview at the School of Communication.

  • Be admitted to the School of Communication.

  • Provide proof a GPA of 7 or higher for their third year of high school.

  • Provide proof of a Certificate in Advanced English before completing the second year of the program.

Cost: The subjects that are part of the International Program in Fashion Communication will have a higher cost per credit than the rest of the subjects in the School of Communication. Enrollment in this program will cost 25% more than the credits taken in the first year of the three degree programs.

  1. Format

The International Program in Fashion Communication requires students to complete 24 ECTS credits, which can be obtained by taking 8 of the 10 subjects offered by the program (30 ECTS credits).

  1. Complementary activities

The International Program in Fashion Communication also offers the opportunity for students to participate voluntarily in activities related to the fashion industry, such as:

  • University of Navarra International Fashion Conference

  • Sessions and guided visits to fashion companies.

  • Visit to the Balenciaga Museum, cultural institutions and fashion exhibitions.
