1. Introduction

The Institutional Communication Pathway provides students with the opportunity to learn about some employment opportunities by taking elective subjects such as Business and Financial Communication, Political Communication and Project Management.

The objective is for you to be trained in techniques for being not only persuasive, but also informative, to learn how journalists work, learn how to manage strategies for institutions to make themselves known, and, in short, enhance your potential to become a communication analyst and strategist.

If this is your field of professional interest, you enjoy strategic thinking, want to improve your ability for informative and persuasive communication, and rightly consider Institutional Communication to be a sought-after professional activity in the job market.

2. Admissions

This system does not require prior registration, nor does it entail an obligation on the part of the School or a right on the part of the student to demand it. Thus, if upon completing a degree program, the student has fulfilled the established requirements, he or she, in addition to the official degree, will be awarded the university-accredited qualification for the corresponding pathway.

1. The pathway shall be considered complete when the number of ECTS credits specified for each degree program is reached from among the subjects specified as belonging to the pathway.

2. Required subjects do not count.  Students may select the subjects they wish from the list as long as the required number of ECTS credits is reached.

3. The subjects belonging to the pathway correspond to approximately 80% of the elective subjects provided in each degree program.

4. A maximum of 3 ECTS credits may be recognized from an internship, as long as it is related to the selected pathway and the student is registered for the internship subject.

3. Format

Specialization does not require students to complete a greater number of subjects than those foreseen in the curriculum, nor to register for seminars or complementary activities.
