The aim of this degree is to train professionals with broad, comprehensive and flexible qualifications who are able to cope, in the classroom and beyond, with the educational challenges posed by today's society.
The goal is for graduates to possess in-depth knowledge of teaching activities, orientation tasks and other educational activities that take place beyond educational centers.
The Double Degree in Education and Early Childhood Education (five years) is designed for:
Students who are interested in teaching children between the ages of 0 and 6. Students are expected to develop an understanding of children's educational needs and living situations, as well as complement the learning they receive at home. They should demonstrate a capacity for study, creativity and responsibility, and possess the skills required to communicate with people.
It is also aimed at students interested in designing, coordinating and evaluating training programs in various areas (schools, companies, NGOs, associations, etc.), and carrying out educational orientation tasks in schools and professional practices. They should be interested in helping people through lifelong training, guidance and psycho-educational intervention in the various educational and social fields. In this context, students must also demonstrate a capacity for study, research and hard work.
1965 The University of Navarra launches the Education study programs with the creation of the Institute of Educational Sciences.
1975 The Educational Sciences study programs are created in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
2009-2010 The Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Degree in Education, among others, are launched. They incorporate the key content from the former Degrees in Education and Educational Psychology.
