The International Congress of Oncology for Students (COE) is a non-profit initiative developed by students of the biomedical faculties of the University of Navarre.

Each year hundreds of students gather to learn everything related to cancer research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and medical care from scientific, human and social perspectives. The COE is an opportunity to acquire knowledge about and experience of cancer and to actively take part in the fight against it.

Above all, however, COE is an opportunity to meet hundreds of people like yourself, from different universities and countries, and to share together in Pamplona a weekend that promises to be unforgettable.

This, the sixteenth Congress, titled “The journey of cancer: prevention, control and humanity”, will take place on February 27, 28 and 29 of 2020. The event will be held in the assembly room in the library building (Salón de Actos of the Edificio Bibliotecas) at the University of Navarre.

In COE XVI the emphasis will be on the latest knowledge related to cancer, with a view to being right up to date and to take a successful interdisciplinary approach to cancer.  The organizing committee is seeking excellence in the preparation of the event. The Congress is recognized by the Ministry of Health, the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), the Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM) and the Government of Navarre.
