The Intercenter Loans service is used to request that books, special materials and scanned journal articles be transferred between the Main Library, the Science Library and the Architecture Library.
These materials can also be sent from these libraries to the Alumni Building Library in Madrid, CIMA and CUN.
Who can request this service?
Teaching and research staff, doctoral and master’s students, employees and students with special needs.
What kind of materials can be requested?
Monographs, journal articles (scanned), book chapters and indices (scanned) and audiovisual resources.
Items in microform, vinyl materials, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference books, works from the Archive, journals and newspapers, and the recommended bibliography are all excluded from this service.
How can I request materials?
From the catalogue itself, through the Request or Reserve option, by indicating the pick-up location.
When and where can I collect materials?
An email will be sent to the requester when the item becomes available (between 24 and 48 hours after the request is made).
Items should be picked up from the information desk in the Main Library, Science Library, Architecture Library or Alumni Building Library in Madrid. Items sent to CIMA and CUN will be sent by internal mail. Journal articles are sent by email.
How do I return items?
The item should be returned to the counter where it was collected. In the case of CIMA and CUN, it can be returned by internal mail.
