Some 230 International Students from School of Economics Celebrate International Day
This academic year, a total of 240 Spanish students will take part in an academic exchange at one of the University of Navarra's 107 partner universities
Some 230 international exchange students who joined the University of Navarra's School of Economics this academic year came together to celebrate International Day. The event was held in the entrance hall of the Amigos Building, which was filled with stands representing the different partner universities, while the exchange students from each university spoke to people who were interested in their institution and explained why it was a good option for an exchange.
In the 2015-2016 academic year, 230 international students have joined the School of Economics for an academic exchange. They are drawn from among the University of Navarra's 107 partner universities, which are spread across 37 different countries all over the world.
Meanwhile, a total of 240 Spanish students will take part in an academic exchange at one of the University's partner schools. Around 210 of them will arrange their exchange through the School of Economics' International Office, while another 30 will arrange theirs as part of the Economics, Leadership and Governance program, which is managed by the same office.
"In addition to exchanges, the School of Economics offers students other ways to add an international dimension to their CV," said María Carmen Bielza, the Director of the International Office. "They can enroll in summer programs at other universities, make use of the University of Navarra's Institute of Modern Languages, apply for an Erasmus grant or do volunteer work abroad through Tantaka, among other options," she explained.
The International Office also offered two informative talks to inform students of all the procedures they must follow in order to formally apply for an exchange program.
