190 Medical Students at the Clinical Transition Ceremony
Students Celebrated their Transition to Clinical Patient Care
190 third-year Medical students from the Universidad de Navarra participated in the Clinical Transition Ceremony. In the event, students were given white coats to represent their next step in starting the intensive training for clinical patient care.
"You must be good doctors from minute 1". You must decide if you are willing to dedicate 6 years of your life, just for taking a 5 hour exam." Those were the words from Dr Carlos Chaccour, in charge of giving the lecture "The Doctor In the Jungle & The Clinic in global health". He also highlighted how lucky students were for studying at the Universidad de Navarra, where "patient care is relevant from the first year".

"These are white, first of all, because white represents purity and neatness; and secondly, as a sign of respect and authority, we have the knowledge of taking care and caring about people, they expect a lot from us", said the dean, Dr Secundino Fernández.
