From the beginning of the academic year on September 1, the University is committed to continuing in-person classes, always following the indications of the health authorities and with flexibility to adapt to the evolution of the pandemic. In order to guarantee safety on campus and prevent the spread of the virus in the university community, it has established the following measures:

First of all, students can be vaccinated on the Pamplona campus at the start of the academic year. The Regional Government of Navarre has authorized and will manage the administration of vaccines in collaboration with the University. All students who have not been vaccinated or received the second dose will have access to the vaccine.

In addition to this campaign, to help guarantee safety on campus, students will have to advise of their vaccine status. From August 26, free PCR tests will be carried out on students except those who have been vaccinated, have caught covid in the last 180 days or have had a negative PCR performed in the last 72 hours.

Capacity, face masks, cleaning and ventilation

On the other hand, the safety measures regarding seating capacity, use of face masks, cleaning of spaces, etc. have been reviewed. Seating capacity in classrooms and seminar rooms will be the same as in the academic year 20-21 course (1.5 meters between students in the classrooms).

Wearing of face masks will continue to be mandatory indoors and outdoors when it is not possible to guarantee a distance of 1.5 meters. Cleaning of spaces and ventilation will also continue, as well as notices including the indications to be followed according to the regulations. Finally, the virtual medical office (Covid Area) will continue to assist and monitor the contagions and close contacts of students and professionals.

Investment in 20/21
