School of Economics and Business Administration in Fifth Position

The Degree in Management offered by the University of Navarra’s School of Economics and Business Administration is among the top five programmes of its kind in Spain, according to the ranking published by the newspaper El Mundo.
The ranking considered “bilingual teaching and the opportunity to experience up to two exchanges at two universities on different continents” to be the standout features of the School’s Degree in Management.
Moreover, the University of Navarra continues to be the leading private institution in Spain in terms of “research, innovation in teaching, student experience, entrepreneurship, university social responsibility and internationalization”, according to El Mundo.
The ranking, which analysed the 50 most popular academic programmes at faculties and schools around Spain, also placed the Schools of Communication, Pharmacy and Nutrition, Medicine, Law, Architecture and Engineering among the top five in the country.
In terms of selection criteria, the newspaper considered different parameters for the degrees on offer and selected the five best faculties or schools for each. The ranking was produced using data provided by the universities themselves and questionnaires filled in by university lecturers, along with external analyses such as the results of international rankings, reports from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, and other studies.
For the 2016-2017 academic year, the School of Economics and Business Administration was ranked among the 50 best faculties in the world for Accounting and Finance and among the 150 best faculties in the world for Economics, according to the QS World University Ranking by subject. The University of Navarra as a whole was ranked 245th in the world.
